Glen Howard
Glen has an MSc in Health Policy and Organisation. His major interests are improving the delivery of health care through the use of technology and the identification and management of clinical and organisational benefits from healthcare IT.
Glen started his career as a staff nurse before working in professional development and specialist nurse roles. When the opportunity for a project clinician for a patient record project became available, an exciting change of direction began. After working outside of the NHS for a period of time in a research and consultancy environment, he returned to the NHS, supporting a range of IT enabled change projects including the electronic discharge document.
