David Johnstone biography
David Johnstone is Director of Adult and Community Services in Devon County Council. He has a national lead role, on behalf of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, on performance, quality and information systems.
He is a member of the Connecting for Health national board, as the representative of social care, and is co-chair of the DH’s Electronic Social Care Record Implementation Board.
David led a joint NHS and Social Care Project between four PCTs and four Local Authorities to implement an electronic single assessment process for health and social care.
